As we move closer to Earth Day (April 22, 2011), I wanted to share an article in the AJC, (Sunday April 10, 2011) about Earth Day and how our young people are becoming police officers of the Earth. A younger generation is teaching us as parents to do better with recycling, composting, walking instead of driving, and resusing those card board boxes from cereal and toy boxes to make crafty items such as cardboard toys.
It is a community effort to give back to the Earth what it has given to us. Some communities are prospering with this effort more than others. But we can all do our part to make a better planet for generations to come.
